About

I came to Greensboro in 2001 to go to Guilford College.  Since I graduated in 2004 I have amassed an eclectic resume: Event Planner, Used Book Seller, Deli Hustler, Financial Services Officer.  In my free time, I would pet sit for friends and coworkers because I loved it.

Twelve years ago I adopted my dog, Franny, who proved to be a much bigger challenge than I expected.  I worked with dog trainers and read as much as I could about dog behavior and communication.  Over and over again trainers and authors emphasized the importance of exercise, specifically walking, to the mental stability of all dogs.  It's true.  The relationship I built with Franny was only possible because we walked every day.

I have met so many people who want the best for their dogs but don't have the time to commit to daily walks.  I can help with that.  I started my company because I want to help people and their pets have calm and happy relationships.

I am trained and current in Pet First Aid and CPR; Insured by Business Insurers of the Carolinas; Member of Pet Sitters International and the International Association of Canine Professionals.

My beautiful and photogenic tornado of a dog, Franny, is featured frequently on Instagram @raindogsnc and on The Facebook: Rain Dogs NC.
